VISIT The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that uses a timer to break work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length (called "pomodoros"), separated by short breaks. This approach helps improve focus and productivity by creating structured work periods.
Pomodoro: 25 minutes of focused work time, Short Break: 5 minutes to rest between pomodoros, Long Break: 15 minutes for a more extended rest after completing 4 pomodoro sessions.
Yes, the timer automatically saves your tasks, pomodoro counts, and current session progress to your browser's local storage. When you return, your tasks and session data will be restored.
When a session completes, the timer will automatically stop, and the control button will reset to "START." The timer will also automatically switch to the next appropriate mode (from pomodoro to break or break to pomodoro).
When you click the "SKIP" button, the current session ends immediately, and the timer switches to the next session type. For example, if you're in a pomodoro session, it will switch to a break, and if you're in a break, it will switch to a pomodoro.
Click on any task in your list to make it the active task. The active task will be highlighted with a white border on the left side. When a pomodoro completes, that task's pomodoro count will increase automatically.
The current version doesn't support direct editing of tasks. If you need to change a task, you'll need to delete the current one and create a new task with the updated information.
The number in parentheses represents how many completed pomodoro sessions you've spent on that specific task. This helps you track how much time you've invested in each task.
After you complete 4 pomodoro sessions, the timer automatically switches to a long break instead of a short break. This follows the standard Pomodoro Technique, which recommends taking longer breaks after several work sessions to prevent burnout.
Click the menu button (⋮) in the top right corner of the Tasks section, then select "Clear Completed Tasks." This will remove all tasks that have been marked as complete, helping you keep your task list tidy.
